Most office workers can't get to work without taking the bus, but buses are often a haven for pickpockets. Due to the large crowds and cramped spaces, it's easy for thieves to take advantage of the chaos during boarding and alighting. Being pickpocketed causes great distress to the victims, and the loss is not merely financial or material. Many times, there is also irreparable emotional damage, causing much inconvenience to the victims!
