Dongfeng Town plans to apply for the intangible cultural heritage of Zhongshan City for the "five-person speedboat race" which is very popular in the water town area of the Pearl River Delta. A century-old boat in Yongyi Village of Dongfeng Town is still well preserved, and the five inheritors of the "five-person speedboat race" are all in this village. Relevant materials for the application for the heritage status are currently being organized.
