Tinggang Ancient Temple is located at the top of Tinggang Ridge in Dong坑 Town. It was originally constructed during the Jiajing period (1522-1566) of the Ming Dynasty, and has a history of four hundred years. Positioned atop Tinggang Ridge, the temple has an imposing appearance with magnificent architecture, featuring carved beams and painted rafters that exude an ancient charm. The Tinggang Ancient Temple, one of the tourist attractions in Dong坑, has two floors. On the upper floor, the main hall enshrines the Seven Holy Immortal Maidens, while the side halls on either side enshrine Madam Jinhua and Guanyin Bodhisattva, among others. The lower floor consists of three rooms: the central room used for praying, and the rooms on both sides serve as rest halls.
