Zhongshan Park of Shilong is located on Taiping Road of Shilong Town. It was completed in 1924 and named to commemorate the pioneer of democratic revolution, Sun Yat-sen. The total area of Zhongshan Park of Shilong is more than 40,000 square meters. Inside the park are memorials such as Li Wenfu Pavilion (one of the Seventy-two Martyrs of Huanghuagang), the open-air stage where Zhou Enlai gave speeches during the Eastern Expedition, a statue of Zhou Enlai, and sculptures of athletes from “the Hometown of Weightlifting”. Zhongshan Park of Shilong is a tourist attraction that can't be missed.
