Hebo Ancient Tower is located by the banks of the Hengjiang River in the northwestern suburb of Hebo Town, JieXi County. It was built during the Jiaqing era of the Qing Dynasty (1805), and is the first ancient building visible upon entering the Hebo Basin. Together with the Wufeng Mountain (also known as Temple Mountain) to the southwest, it serves as a landmark of Hebo. The Hebo Ancient Tower is octagonal in shape, has seven floors, stands 28 meters tall, and is entirely constructed from blue bricks. The tower's entrance faces north, and above it are four large stone-carved characters: "Qing He Di Zhu". The Hebo Ancient Tower has an elegant design, robust and majestic, towering by the river like a giant pillar supporting the sky. Upon ascending to the top of the tower, one can overlook the entire city and take in its picturesque scenery all at once.
