Yuecheng Dragon Mother Ancestral Temple is located at the confluence of three rivers in Yuecheng Town, Deqing County, Guangdong Province. The ancestral temple features exquisite architectural carvings, including stone carving, brick carving, wood carving, and pottery carving. These artworks are ingeniously crafted, making extensive use of deep carving and pierced relief techniques, which bring the structures to life and give them a three-dimensional quality. Inside the temple, there are numerous wood and pottery carvings with a wide range of themes, fine craftsmanship, large quantities, and good preservation, making the temple akin to a small sculpture art gallery.
