Germany once took the lead in opening special flights and hotels for nudists. Now Germany has again announced to give a green light to "naked climbers" by opening an 18-kilometer long dedicated path at a famous mountain climbing scenic area in the north. This "nudist path" is located in the Harz Mountains, a famous tourist destination in central Germany, and was organized and initiated by Heinz·Ludwig of the German Nudism Association. The path will officially open on May 1, 2010. Currently, the government has already set up warning signs at the intersections.
