The Maoming Rare Plant Garden is located in the Xiaoliang Soil and Water Conservation Station, Maogang District, Maoming City. It is situated in the northern edge of the tropical zone. The scenic area of the rare plant garden is planned to cover an area of 180 hectares, divided into four zones: tropical man-made forest, pioneer forest area, desertified land "bare ground", and soil and water conservation compound agricultural demonstration zone. The Maoming Rare Plant Garden is a popular science, environmental education base, and ecotourism area that integrates nature and humanity, static and dynamic, rest and participation, entertainment and knowledge acquisition, and combines a good natural ecological environment with a pleasant landscape.
