The national 2A tourist attractions is located in Shidu National Geological Park, about 95 kilometers away from the urban area of Beijing. It is a typical karst cave landscape formed by karst landform. Xianqi Cave sits on the Pingzhong Mountain, which belongs to the west side of Dafang Mountain, at the intersection of the eastward Taihang Mountains and Yan Mountain. It was formed in the Sinian Period 1.6 billion years ago, and was developed after exploration in 1998. In the 1.6 billion years, rain water continuously penetrated into the mountain body, and the carbonate substances in the mountain body were dissolved in water and deposited through the mountains to form colorful and variously shaped stalactites. The cave has many layers and branches, profound and unfathomable, and its strange and beautiful landscape is praised as "the fairyland on earth in Beijing".
