Day 1: Visit Rize Valley and Zechawa Valley. Jiuzhai沟 starts selling tickets at 7:30 AM, so arrive at the entrance ticket office at 7:30 AM. When buying the ticket, remember to specify that you will enter the valley a second time, and then the ticket seller will ask you to go to another room for a photo for tomorrow's second entry. First, visit the essence of the three valleys - Rize Valley. This valley has magnificent scenery, each sea (lake) has its own characteristics, and is very worth savoring carefully. After entering the valley, take the sightseeing bus first and get off at Nuorilang Station. Walk along the mountain road to the right towards Rize Valley. Rize Valley is 18 kilometers long. First pass through Mirror Lake, which only shows its best scenery in the morning when it is windless, so it's best to reach Mirror Lake as the first stop, then continue walking up along the winding mountain road. From the road, you can see the panoramic view of each sea, which cannot be seen on the boardwalks. However, the road is steep with sharp turns, so pay attention to safety when walking. After reaching Swan Lake, you can return without going all the way to the Primitive Forest. The entire journey is about 13 kilometers and takes approximately 4-5 hours on foot. Then walk from Jianzhu Sea via the boardwalk towards Nuorilang Waterfall. There are sightseeing buses traveling between each sea in this valley, so you can take the sightseeing bus to visit each sea one by one (via the boardwalk). It takes about 7 hours to tour this valley. Bring your own lunch, and there's no need to eat at the Nuorilang Service Center. The center offers buffet meals with poor value for money. A cheaper meal costs 33 yuan per person, and a more upscale one costs 48 yuan per person, but the food tastes bad, there are few varieties, and generally, people don't get full. So bringing your own dry provisions is not only better tasting and economical but also saves time. Then visit Zechawa Valley. Around 2:30 PM after finishing the tour of Rize Valley, you can take the sightseeing bus at Nuorilang to visit Zechawa Valley. This valley is 18 kilometers long and is the longest of the three valleys, but its scenery is only better when there is more water during the autumn season. In the upper and lower seasons, the seas are full of water, and it’s worth getting off to visit, while in other seasons, just viewing from the bus is enough. The ride in this valley takes longer, so you can rest a bit on the bus to alleviate the fatigue from walking in Rize Valley. There aren’t many seas in this valley, and before August each year, the upper and lower seas are dry with no water, leaving only two hollows. The entire valley only has Chang Hai (Long Lake) and Wucai Chi (Five-Color Pool). The scenery of Chang Hai is average, and only in winter when it freezes does the whole sea become a natural skating rink that is somewhat worth seeing. As for Wucai Chi, after seeing Wuhua Hai in Rize Valley, it becomes less impressive. During the spring and summer seasons when there is no water, the water in Wucai Chi is pitifully scarce. Therefore, visiting this valley by just sitting on the sightseeing bus is sufficient. It takes about an hour and a half to two hours to finish touring this valley, basically all viewing from the sightseeing bus. Only when reaching Chang Hai and heading to Wucai Chi do you need to walk, and then take the sightseeing bus back to Nuorilang Station. Following this itinerary, around 4:30 PM, you can take the sightseeing bus back to the Jiuzhaigou entrance. It is recommended to end this itinerary, return to the hotel to rest, and not linger any longer to conserve energy for the next day's hike in Shuzheng Valley.
