In the second year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty, the court built the Baisha Family Temple to honor the virtue of Mr. Chen Baisha, a true Confucian scholar of the sacred generation. There is a lofty paifang at the main gate of the Chen Baisha Memorial with five big characters "Chen Baisha Memorial". Entering through the gateway, you will see the bronze statue of Mr. Baisha standing in the center of the granite square. The paths in the Chen Baisha Memorial Square lead to secluded spots, with emerald grass and sparse woods. To be there, one would feel solemnity and reverence instantly.
