The Sanyu Scenic Area is located 15 kilometers west of the Miyun county seat, consisting of Niu Basin Valley, Stone Tank Valley, and White Road Valley. Here, many sights such as wondrous peaks and beautiful waters, mountainous Great Wall, and Ba-Shu culture form the unique characteristics of the Sanyu scenery. In the Niu Basin Valley, the mountain cliffs are adorned with hanging waterfalls, strange-shaped peaks, babbling brooks at the valley bottom, and an abundance of exotic flowers and herbs. The Hundred-Zhang Cliff, Cave of Ten Thousand Pigeons, Twin Waterfall Pool, Gorilla Peak, and Golden Frog Leaping over the Brook are just some of the many extraordinary landscapes that interpret the uniqueness of the Sanyu scenic area.
