The "Number One Waterfall of Beijing" is located within the bounds of Miyun County in the Beijing suburbs. On the stone wall to the left of the waterfall are engraved the five big characters saying "Number One Waterfall of Beijing". It is 62.5 meters high, 28 meters higher than the "Passageway to Heaven Waterfall" at Black Dragon Pool not far away, and flows all year round. Even in the dry season of winter and spring, it has a flow volume of about half a cubic meter per second.
