Ji Sung plays the male protagonist Kim Jung Woo, a rugged and resilient character with a rebellious streak. Born as an illegitimate child, Jung Woo grew up in an orphanage. Despite facing hardships, he strives hard for love and his ideals, living a strong life. Although he is a strong figure who overcomes adversity and brims with ambition, Jung Woo shows great tenderness towards the woman he loves.
