The Three Su Memorial is located within the Sha Gu Xing area in the southwestern corner of Meishan City. It was the former residence of the three famous Song dynasty literary figures: Su Xun, Su Shi (Dongpo), and Su Zhe. During the Yuan dynasty, the house was converted into a memorial to honor the three Sues. It was expanded during the Hongwu reign of the Ming dynasty but destroyed by war at the end of the Ming dynasty; only five steles and one bell survived. In 1665, during the fourth year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing dynasty, it was rebuilt on the original site according to the Ming scale. Subsequent dynasties have made various additions and repairs. The current area covers 56,800 square meters, featuring a classical Sichuan-style garden architecture. Surrounded by red walls, with green water winding around, lotus ponds interconnected, small bridges frequently crossing over, winding paths leading to secluded places, halls, pavilions, gazebos, and waterside houses are hidden among the dense bamboo groves, arranged in an orderly and picturesque manner. It is known as an "island dwelling" with "three parts water, two parts bamboo."
