Tongtianxia, Tongtianxia Scenic Area

Tongtian Gorge Scenic Area is located in Luanchuan County, Luoyang City, to the east of Longyuwan Scenic Area, one kilometer east of the 311 National Road, and about ten kilometers away from Luanchuan County. In the Tongtian Gorge, there are towering mountains, some with a natural narrow slit between the cliffs. Inside the gorge, there are dense waterfalls, and the waterfall water seems to fall from the sky, hence the name Tongtian Gorge. Tongtian Gorge is not only dangerous, but also has an altitude of more than 1700 meters. There are a large number of primitive natural landscapes inside the gorge. Especially, it has a large amount of rare vegetation such as creeping juniper, which makes it particularly charming in autumn, and it is known as the "Pearl of Central Plains". The Tongtian Gorge Scenic Area has twenty-five deep pools, and also has the largest waterfall cluster in Central Plains. Most of the waterfalls in Tongtian Gorge are double or triple stacked waterfalls, which are very spectacular.
