Mount Sanqing is located at the boundary of Yushan and Dexing counties in Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, close to the Zhejiang-Jiangxi railway trunk line. In ancient times, it was the meeting place of Rao, Xin, and Qu three states. The main peak, Yuqing Peak, has an altitude of 1819.9 meters. Because the mountain has three peaks named Yuqing, Yuhua, and Yuxu, and they look like the Three Pure Ones (Yuqing, Shangqing, and Taiqing) sitting on the summit, hence the name. Mount Sanqing is about 56 square kilometers in size, narrow from north to south. Due to long-term geological changes, Mount Sanqing has formed a unique landscape of strange peaks and rocks, rushing streams and waterfalls, deep canyons and floating clouds, etc.
