Potty training for dogs

Toilet training is also one of the important topics for dog owners. Especially when raising dogs indoors, if toileting training is not properly done, the dog will defecate and urinate indiscriminately, causing a lot of headaches. Some people believe that if the dog's toilet area has the smell of urine, the dog will use it as its bathroom. There are even products on the market called "attractant fluids" that mimic the ammonia smell of urine. However, in reality, this method of using newspapers or toilet paper with urine stains to help the dog remember the location of its toilet almost always fails. This is because dogs do not like to urinate in places that already have their own urine smell. Even if the surface of the newspaper or toilet paper has dried, leaving only a faint odor, the dog can still detect it with its keen sense of smell, concluding that "this place is already dirty," and will then seek another spot to relieve itself.

So, how should one conduct toilet training? The key lies in understanding the habits of the dog.
