Jiangsu Mobile Communications Co., Ltd. is one of the main mobile communications operation enterprises in Jiangsu Province. Its predecessor was Jiangsu Mobile Communications Corporation, established in 1992. In 1998, it carried out stock right transformation and corporate reorganization, registered and established Jiangsu Mobile Communications Co., Ltd. It was acquired by China Mobile (Hong Kong) Ltd. (formerly known as China Telecom (Hong Kong) Corporation Limited) at a price of 2.9 billion US dollars, and became an enterprise operating according to international criteria.
