At 7:20 AM yesterday, a truck rollover accident occurred on the Ruyuan section of the Jingzhu Expressway, resulting in one death and one injury.
When the Ruyuan County Fire Station of Shaoguan City arrived at the scene, they found that the accident truck had flipped to a place three or four meters below the road surface. The cab was seriously deformed, and the windshield of the driver's compartment was broken. According to the traffic police on the scene, there were two people trapped in the car, and the person trapped in the driver's compartment had head injuries and was bleeding. The firefighters immediately dismantled the deformed cab to rescue the trapped people. At around 9 o'clock, the trapped driver was rescued. At 10:10, the firefighters found the person from the front passenger seat in a nearby ditch, but after unsuccessful on-site medical rescue, he was pronounced dead.
According to the information gathered on site, the truck was heading towards Changsha, carrying complex items such as paint. Due to high-speed driving, the left front tire of the truck burst, causing it to lose balance. The accident vehicle crashed through the highway guardrail, eventually leading to the rollover accident with one death and one injury.
