Fossil of long-legged fish discovered in the Arctic

A US scientific expedition team announced on the 5th that they discovered the fossil of an ancient fish dating back to 375 million years ago, on Ellesmere Island in the Canadian Arctic region. It fills in a long-sought Darwinian evolution gap in the academic world: some fish left the ocean and walked onto land with their limbs.
