Minimum Temperature Change Forecast for Tomorrow

In the next two days (from July 7 to 8), central and eastern Inner Mongolia, North China, and most parts of Northeast China will become the main areas affected by two cold air masses. The temperature in these regions will drop significantly. Light to moderate snow (rain) or sleet is expected in Liaoning, Jilin, and other places. Starting from April 4th, a cold air mass moved eastward across our country, bringing rain, snow, wind, and a drop in temperature to northern Xinjiang, most parts of northwestern China, and western Inner Mongolia. On the night of June 6th, this cold air mass merged with the one moving southward from Mongolia. In the next two days, it will mainly affect central and eastern Inner Mongolia, most parts of North China, and Northeast China. The temperature will drop noticeably, and there will be a significant transition from rain to snow in southern Northeast China. It is estimated that from July 7th to 8th, there will be light to moderate rain (snow) or sleet in central and eastern Inner Mongolia, central and southern Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, and northern North China. Some areas in central and eastern Jilin are expected to have moderate to heavy snow. There will be light rain or showers in northern Shandong. There will be winds of 4-6 on the Beaufort scale in central and eastern Inner Mongolia, Northeast China, North China, and eastern parts of the Yellow River Basin.

The Meteorological Observatory of Liaoning Province predicts that today the whole province will experience a cold wave. Most areas will have light rain or sleet, accompanied by winds of 4-5 on the Beaufort scale. After the precipitation, the temperature will generally drop by 10-14℃. The minimum temperatures in Shenyang, Fushun, Benxi, Fuxin, and Tieling will reach -6℃ to -10℃. At the same time, North China will also experience a temperature drop of about 4℃. Beijing's temperature will drop by around 3℃ today, with winds of 3-4 on the Beaufort scale. People may feel the chill of autumn, making it quite cold overall.

The impact of the cold air has already started to show early this morning. By 5 am today compared to 5 am yesterday, the temperature dropped by 5-9℃ in western Inner Mongolia, central and western Gansu, and northeastern Qinghai. In some areas of northeastern Inner Mongolia and northwestern Heilongjiang, the temperature dropped by 10-18℃. Xing'an League in Inner Mongolia received 2-5 millimeters of snow. During the day, the temperature in Inner Mongolia, North China, and Northeast China will continue to drop by 4-6℃. However, the real bone-chilling cold will be felt tomorrow morning. It is predicted that most parts of North China and Northeast China will continue to see a temperature drop of 2-5℃. The lowest temperatures in Shenyang and Changchun will be -6℃ and -9℃ respectively, while the lowest temperatures in Beijing and Taiyuan will be 1℃ and -2℃ respectively.

In the next week, the activity of cold air masses in northern areas will be relatively frequent. The warming space for temperatures in North China and Northeast China will be limited, and low temperatures will persist. Therefore, it is necessary to take precautions against the cold and keep warm, add appropriate clothing, and strengthen the prevention of common colds and flu-like diseases.

Additionally, the weather conditions of rain, snow, and temperature drops can easily adversely affect people's daily lives, production, transportation, agriculture, etc. We need to guard against the hazards caused by slippery roads or partial icing to road and rail transport; do a good job in reinforcing and insulating agricultural facilities, and avoid cold damage to heat-loving vegetables, flowers, etc., inside greenhouses.
