Long before I was relatively young, the video hall (yes, it was the time when video halls still existed) often played some Hong Kong gangster films. I knew Chow Yun-fat and Andy Lau at that time. The Hong Kong films back then made certain people in the black society appear to be chivalrous and that was a very popular thing. But even with such deliberate beautification of the black society people, we have to admit that this field is not a good place. The land-grabbing business was always popular. If some boss of a certain area died, the left space would definitely be filled by someone else.
