Yesterday, a leader of the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau revealed during an online exchange with netizens on the topic of "labor employment" that the city's minimum wage standard is expected to be adjusted from the current 800 yuan per month to around 900 yuan, and is likely to be implemented in July this year.

Regarding the widely publicized issue of the minimum wage, a relevant official from the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau stated that income distribution has become a key issue of concern for representatives and committee members at the two sessions this year, and is also an important factor affecting the stability of labor relations. The city will further promote the collective wage negotiation system, play the guiding role of the wage guideline line, gradually establish a mechanism for employee wage growth, and raise the city's minimum wage standard appropriately.

This year, the city will also introduce the wage growth guideline line at an appropriate time, guiding enterprises to do a good job in internal wage distribution, and the principle is to tilt towards low-income earners. Currently, the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau has completed the calculation work for the adjustment plan of the minimum wage standard, intending to increase the minimum wage standard by about 10% on the basis of the current 800 yuan/month, meaning that the city's minimum wage standard is expected to be adjusted to around 900 yuan. The adjusted minimum wage standard is generally implemented in July each year.
