Swedish gang uses helicopter in brazen bank raid
In September 2009, a bold group of robbers in Sweden carried explosives and piloted a helicopter, descending onto the roof of a bank vault in Stockholm in the early hours of the morning. They brazenly blew open the vault's door to steal gold bars and cash stored inside. Afterwards, several of them casually drove away from the rooftop. Not long after the robbery, police received a report that a Bell 206 JetRanger ultra-light helicopter, housed in a hangar at a flight school in Norrtälje, located 70 kilometers north of Stockholm, had been stolen.
