On the evening of March 23, 2010, a post titled "The Strong 'Chinese Woman' Guo Li Brutally Assaults a Female Reporter from Guizhou TV Station on the Street" appeared on major websites across the country, exposing in detail the violent behavior of an unlicensed female driver in Guiyang who brutally assaulted a female reporter on the street. It was reported that the assaulted reporter's surname is Lu, and she is a journalist for the program "Legal Frontline" on Channel 5 of Guizhou TV Station. On the morning of March 23, while the station was collaborating with the Fourth Brigade of the Guiyang Traffic Police Corps to expose and correct violations by pedestrians and motor vehicles through media supervision, an offending female driver became enraged and physically assaulted the interviewing female reporter.
