With the punctual arrival of flight CZ3123, the first group of members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) to arrive in Beijing by plane began to report to the conference. As soon as three national CPPCC members including Tang Jianren got off the plane, they immediately started to enrich their proposals. The three members went to No. 35 Middle School in Beijing where Premier Wen Jiabao had previously conducted a survey. They exchanged ideas with teachers to gain an in-depth understanding of the current situation of primary and secondary education, and even walked into classrooms to have a class with the students.
The proposal of committee member Wang Wenbiao this year focuses on desertification and ecological land use. Today, he left his accommodation and participated in a video conference on ecological management, learning about the opinions from various parties such as scattered herders and desert control experts, to enrich the content of his proposal.
Currently, CPPCC members from various sectors including the China Democratic建国Party (CDP), education, and ethnic minorities have arrived in Beijing one after another to report to the conference.
