On the morning of February 27, entrusted by the Film Bureau of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, an event to present "Domestic Excellent Films to Old Revolutionary Base Areas" was held in front of Xibaipo Memorial Hall. The event was co-organized by China Film Distribution & Exhibition Corporation, the Provincial Radio, Film and Television Bureau, and Hebei Film Studio.
According to the introduction, more than 20 copies of excellent films were presented to Xibaipo Memorial Hall, worth nearly 3 million yuan, with rich content and various forms. These included the tribute film for the 60th anniversary of the founding of New China, Who Rules the Rise and Fall; Brothers from One Mother produced by Hebei Film Studio and won the "Five One Project" Award of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the CPC in 2009; and other excellent films produced in recent years by domestic production institutions such as Six Sisters of Mount Yimeng and Deng Jiaxian.
The organizer expressed that they hoped through this event to enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the people in revolutionary old areas while further inspiring patriotic enthusiasm among the masses, and increase their attention to domestic excellent films.
