These five individuals have fully confessed to their illegal acts.

From the evening of February 20th to the early morning of the 21st, due to "earthquake rumors," some residents in Jinzhong, Taiyuan, Lüliang, Changzhi, and Yangquan of Shanxi Province left their homes to evade the earthquake. After the incident occurred, Shanxi Province quickly released information refuting the rumors through television, the internet, mobile phone text messages, and other platforms to stabilize public sentiment and rapidly restore normal production and living order.
