Shanghai's tallest building topped out at 472 meters with an observatory deck

On September 14, 2007, the Shanghai World Financial Center was topped out. On that day, the construction of the 101st floor of the Shanghai World Financial Center was completed, reaching a height of 492 meters for the official topping out ceremony. The Shanghai World Financial Center was jointly contracted and constructed by the China State Construction Engineering Corporation and the Shanghai Construction Group.
