I: Formal Parentage Appraisal Report: (Judicial Parentage Appraisal)
Scope of application: going to court for litigation, registering household registration for children, international immigration, international police investigation, inheritance of property and other legal evidence.
>> The formal parentage appraisal report has judicial effect and can be used directly as legal evidence. The sampling procedure is strict, so the materials provided must be true and reliable.
>> If you personally apply for a formal appraisal report, you need to prepare corresponding certificates (ID card, passport, officer's certificate, household register, or the child's birth certificate) and copies, 3 unadorned photos of 1 inch or 2 inches from the same negative, fill out the entrustment letter and parentage appraisal application form with us.
>> If you are commissioned by public security, procuratorate, court, law firm or other units, we will be responsible for the commissioning unit and the submitted sample.
>> It needs to be particularly explained that: for single-parent parentage appraisal, due to about 0.5% gene mutation, see Article 6 of the appraisal application agreement.
>> Our center will affix the blue laboratory accreditation (CNAS) and red metrology certification (MA) seals on the formal appraisal report. Reports with this seal can be used internationally and are very suitable for immigration and cross-border appraisals.
II: Parentage Appraisal Consultation Opinion Letter: (Personal Parentage Appraisal)
Scope of application: cannot be used as legal evidence.
>> The entrustor does not need to provide any certificates or photos, real names can be omitted, and results can be obtained through mailing samples. The consultation opinion letter has strong confidentiality and is suitable for those who only want to know about parentage appraisal. The opinion letter has the signature seal of the appraiser.
>> However, since we are only responsible for the submitted samples, the consultation opinion letter does not have the official seal and does not have judicial effect. Similarly, for single-parent parentage appraisal, there exists about 0.5% gene mutation. (See Article 6 of the appraisal application agreement)
>> If you complete the commission by mailing samples, you need:
1. Download our entrustment appraisal application form online (if it cannot be downloaded online, you can directly request our center to fax it to you), if this is also inconvenient, you just need to fill in the relationship between the samples and contact information, and our staff will contact you directly after receiving the samples.
2. You can request us to E-mail the consultation opinion letter to you, if you need us to send the text-based opinion letter, you also need to fill in the return postal code and address.
3. If you commission a single-parent parentage appraisal, please refer to (Article 6 of the appraisal application agreement) before mailing the sample.
4. Our case reception personnel will check whether the sample you mailed is qualified, and our center has the right to return unqualified samples.
III: Handling of Unqualified Samples
1. Case reception personnel may refuse to accept unqualified samples or other special samples.
2. The rejected specimens should promptly notify the submitter and have them sign to retrieve the samples.
3. Unqualified samples will be retained in this laboratory for one month. If the submitter does not collect the sample within one month, we will destroy the sample.
