The deepening of the non-commissioned officer (NCO) system reform plan has been issued, with adjustments to the military rank system. To promote the rapid and sustainable development of the NCO team and enhance the ability to fulfill the historical mission of our army in the new era, approved by President Hu Jintao, the Central Military Commission has issued the "Deepening Non-Commissioned Officer System Reform Plan" to the entire army and armed police force. The plan includes adjustments to the military rank system, among other reforms aimed at improving the structure and capabilities of the NCO corps.
