It was learned that the names of the products involved in "piggybacking on famous brands" and infringing on the trademark rights of Guangdong Huaren Coatings Co., Ltd. that were uncovered during this anti-counterfeiting and rights protection activity include: "Hong Kong Huaren Paint", "New Century Huaren", "Guangde Huaren Paint Industry", "Century Huaren", "Nine Dragons Huaren", "Runmei Paint", "Runjing Paint", "Runpai Paint", "Huaren Aijiamai", "Huaren Le Wan Jia", "Guanrun Paint", "Huaren Ai Jia", "Jiangmen Silver Sea Huaren Paint Premium No.1". These products have respectively taken advantage of Huaren Coatings' brand recognition and reputation to mislead consumers for improper gains. The industrial and commercial law enforcement officers carefully compared these types of products, collected evidence, and confiscated them all.
According to Fang Xin, vice general manager of Huaren Coatings, although Huaren Coatings actively cooperates with the industrial and commercial department every year in anti-counterfeiting efforts, counterfeit and substandard products in the current coating industry are still rampant. Only in places like Nantong, Yangzhou, Zhenjiang, and Wuxi in Jiangsu province, the number of investigated counterfeit Huaren Coatings products such as "Huaren Paint Industry", "Century Huaren", "Nine Dragons Huaren", "Huaren Aijiamai", and "Huaren Le Wan Jia" reached more than a thousand pieces. The latest "Hong Kong Huaren Plant Oil Series Environmental Protection Paint" product was investigated for suspected misuse of the reputation of Huaren Coatings' well-known product "Natural Plant Oil Environmental Protection Wood Paint". In Chengdu and other places, the "New Century Huaren" product counterfeiting "Natural Plant Oil Environmental Protection Wood Paint" has almost identical factory name, address, and packaging compared to Huaren Coatings' authentic products.
In Wuhan, Hubei, the local office worked with the industrial and commercial department to destroy an infringing manufacturing den located at Jinghe Farm, investigating nearly 300 pieces of suspected infringing "Huaren Family Happiness" and "Huaren Star" products, along with over 100 packaging cans. At the same time, the Wuhan industrial and commercial law enforcement officers also assisted Huaren's legal department in dismantling fake Huaren store signs that misled consumers. In Yunnan, Beijing, Jiangxi, Fujian, and other places, the law enforcement departments also conducted inspections of the local building materials markets, and the anti-counterfeiting and rights protection actions in various places are being carried out in an orderly manner.
