On June 7, the police in Fangchenggang, Guangxi found 173 bear paws on a truck which was supposed to transport waste paper. After viewing the pictures in the relevant reports, some experts indicated that these bear paws were from wild black bears, including those young black bears. The case handlers analyzed that Fangchenggang might be just a transfer station and the final destination of this batch of bear paws would be other economically developed areas. Because of man's gluttony and the huge profits in selling wildlife, dozens of black bears met their ends at the hands of lawless elements.
