Different flowers of the same kind have different water requirements. For example, succulents such as cacti and barrel cacti are more drought-resistant and do not need much watering; while flowers like umbrella grass and crab claw orchids prefer a moist environment and require more watering. Different growth stages of the same kind of flower also have different water requirements. During the vigorous growth period, the water requirement is relatively large, and proper increase in watering can promote growth; during the flower bud differentiation stage, appropriate reduction in watering can promote flower bud differentiation.
