On a mountain in Xifu Town, Chengyang, Qingdao, the town government has opened a mountain climbing trail. With the trail's opening, many tourists have come to climb here. Not long ago, some tourists saw a huge stone on the southwest side of the mountain that looked like a bust of the great man Mao Zedong, and since then this mountain's fame has quickly grown. On the morning of May 26, 2009, Chairman Mao's grandson, Mao Xinyu, also came here, standing on the mountaintop to view this naturally formed "Stone Mao", and exclaimed: "This is breathtaking, a remembrance by nature."
