Yesterday, the Beijing CBD Management Committee announced that the CBD core zone will be extended by around 3 square kilometers to the east, with a focus on developing key industries such as headquarter economy, international finance and high-end business etc. In the next ten years, Chaoyang district will invest around 7 billion yuan in the construction of municipal infrastructure in the eastern expansion area.
The CBD eastern extension will have building height restrictions.
Yesterday afternoon, relevant persons in charge of the Beijing CBD Management Committee introduced that after 10 years of development, the development space for the CBD has been basically saturated. To realize the gathering development of high-end industries, it is necessary to further improve regional space.
