In Issue 27 of Shonen Jump in 1996, *Slam Dunk*, which represented an entire era, published its final chapter: after the National Tournament, Hanamichi Sakuragi could be seen strolling along the beach, nursing his injuries and savoring a letter from Haruko, the new manager of the basketball team: "Everyone is waiting for you to come back. The basketball you love is waiting for you to come back." A sea breeze blew past, and as Sakuragi half-turned around, he let out with his usual arrogance: "Because I'm a genius." This was the last image that *Slam Dunk* left us with.

On April 23, 2009, the concluding story of *Slam Dunk*, *Ten Days After Slam Dunk*, was officially released. To wait for these young basketball players to return ten days later, it took us 13 years. Do we still remember vividly those once extremely familiar names and faces—Sakuragi, Rukawa, Kaede, Miyagi, Mitsui, Fujima, Sendoh, and Makihara?
