American Captain Takes Photos of Pink Bottlenose Dolphin (Picture Group) Pink Dolphins

A local captain in Louisiana has captured rare images of a bright pink bottlenose dolphin in Lake Calcasieu, according to the British Daily Mail.

Local charter captain Erik Rue said that he had been studying the pink dolphin since it appeared in Lake Calcasieu. Lake Calcasieu is an inland saltwater lake located north of the Gulf of Mexico in Southwest United States. After people discovered that this pink dolphin was socializing with other dolphins of normal color, visitors have come to Lake Calcasieu accordingly.
