13-Year-Old Grade 7 Girl Attempts Suicide to Donate Liver to Father Suffering from Liver Cancer (Picture included). Cui, from Jiangsu province, and her husband have been on medical retirement for many years. At the end of last year, her husband was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. The couple initially concealed his condition, but their daughter Linlin, in her first year of junior high school, eventually saw her father's medical diagnosis. What Mrs. Cui didn't expect was that on the evening of January 23, her daughter swallowed 200 sleeping pills and left a suicide note saying she wanted to donate her liver to her dad. Linlin has since been rescued.
