Yesterday, this newspaper reported that more than a dozen youths from Shanxi were successively kidnapped in a cross-border operation. On the 19th, the reporter learned from the Shanxi police that the kidnapping cases were still happening. On the 15th, two more minors were kidnapped in Myitkyina, Myanmar. Because of the continuous kidnappings, the police conservatively estimated that the number of victims had risen to more than 50. For this reason, the police officers handling the case appealed to the relevant departments to take measures as soon as possible. It was also learned that the Ministry of Public Security had forwarded the report to the relevant business department.

The number of victims has increased to over 50

In the past five months, more than a dozen teenagers in Yuncheng, Shanxi have been continuously kidnapped by kidnappers within Myanmar, and it is difficult for the domestic police to crack down on them.
