From January 12 to 16, the Public Security Bureau of Tiangchang City and the police of Xuyi County, Taicang City and Kunshan City in Jiangsu Province jointly cracked a cross-provincial case of ancient tomb robbery. Among the 14 perpetrators, 4 died in the tomb. Currently, 6 criminal suspects have been arrested.
At around 8 p.m. on January 12, Hu Changjun, director of the Tongcheng Police Station of the Tiangchang Public Security Bureau, led officers Zhang Feng, He Ping, and Zhang Lei on patrol near the Tongcheng Cotton Gin when they noticed a suspicious gray Honda sedan. Upon inspection, two male corpses were found on the back seat and in the trunk of the car, both of whom had died of unnatural causes.
