On January 10 Beijing time, the Chinese Martial Arts Fight Club Competition and the Liuhailong International Fight Championship were grandly held at the Lingnan Pearl Gymnasium in Foshan. After three rounds of competition, China's Super Sanshou King Liu Hailong defeated Japan's KO King Iga Hiroshi without any controversy, winning the match effortlessly.

In the year 2000, at the young age of 19, Liu Hailong won the title of "China Sanshou King". He then achieved countless honors such as the Golden Belt in the Sino-Thai Contest, China's Super Sanshou King, and the Golden Belt in the Sino-American Contest. This Sanshou King, known for his "Liu Leg Split", also had remarkable achievements in a series of commercial matches. In 2004, he threw down a Japanese Kyokushin Karate expert in Foshan, and the following year in Guangzhou, during the "Chinese Kung Fu vs World Professional Karate Championship", he led the Chinese team to defeat the international alliance team led by Sergey, the "Russian Karate King" and Putin's personal bodyguard. Since then, he has been regarded as one of the iconic figures of Chinese combat martial arts.
