The girl, Li Lingli, had just turned 4 years old. She was lively and adorable, the only child in the family and also the only little girl on Teagong Road's 6th Street. Little Lingli lived with her grandfather, grandmother, father from Hunan, and mother who was originally from Zhaoqing, in two adjacent rental rooms. Apart from her grandfather who stayed at home to take care of her, the other three needed to work outside on regular days.
