The national standard for "instant noodles" has recently passed expert review, and the new national standard will be officially launched soon. Yesterday, during our investigation and interviews, we found that some instant noodle manufacturers believe that the new national standard helps companies self-regulate, but most consumers know very little about additives, and are confused by the labels on the instant noodle packaging.
Most instant noodles indicate the ingredient list
Yesterday, in a large supermarket in the southern part of the city, reporters saw that two shelves over two meters high were filled with dozens of brands of instant noodles. Almost all brands of instant noodles marked the ingredient list on the outer packaging, but the specifications and labeling methods were not uniform. The vast majority of products clearly noted whether the product was "fried" or "non-fried", but some had smaller fonts and were not prominently placed.
