The awardees of the "Top Ten Outstanding Youths in China 2008" are as follows:
Xiang Nanlin, a class leader of the artillery repair company from a Shenyang Military Region detachment, who is devoted to military skills and spreading the Party's innovative theories;
Zhao Haiqing (Qiang ethnic group), the party secretary of the Chenjiaba Township of Beichuan County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, who disregarded his personal safety during the earthquake relief efforts in the great Wenchuan earthquake and made outstanding contributions;
Niema Lamu (female, Tibetan ethnic group), a postal worker from the Yunling Township post office of Deqin County, Yunnan Province, who fearlessly delivered mails to Tibetan areas through snow-capped mountains and canyons.
