This little house is called the House of Dreams, created by artist Jay Shafer from Sebastopol. Except for the stainless steel kitchen, the interior is all wood structure, decorated with custom-made furniture.
In this era, grandiosity as a descriptive term. Mansions, large courtyards, castle-like buildings are the favorites in real estate advertisements, but Shafer's House of Dreams seems to be a counter metaphor. Through the church-like small windows on his little bed, you can see the beautiful California sky. In the clean office space, a portable computer is right next to the bookshelf. This little house is full of character, especially the lush apple tree in front of the classical porch.
Jay Shafer's lifestyle in the House of Dreams is delicate and subtle, and he shows us through this small house. How much living space do we really need? That's not the issue here; rather, it's that we can't afford houses, even ones that are only 9 square meters...
