Shanghai Industrial Comprehensive Development Zone is one of the three key national development zones approved by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government in 1995. It is also known as the Shanghai Comprehensive Industrial Zone and is located within the Fengxian District of South Shanghai, which is expected to be the economic center of Shanghai in the 21st century. The zone has received significant attention and support from both the municipal and district governments. Due to historical reasons, the Fengxian District, where the industrial zone is located, has long been a base for machinery, electronics, telecommunications, and electrical industries in Shanghai, offering superior industrial and trade support capabilities. Additionally, in 2003, the State Council established an export processing zone within the industrial park, making the Shanghai Industrial Comprehensive Development Zone a super-large industrial development zone that combines both municipal-level industrial zones and national-level export processing zones. The industrial zone has always advocated for an optimal investment environment and provides considerate, efficient, and comprehensive investment services to attract investors.
