WALL HOUSE is the result of the designers at FAR exploring the relationship between suburban living environments and climate in Santiago, the capital of Chile. The house redefines the traditional concept of a wall by using thin-film material, similar to that of a greenhouse, as the "outer wall" for the entire building. To adapt to varying climatic needs, the black film portion of the "outer wall" can be rolled up or covered. Perhaps during winter, such a house could provide the warmth of living inside a cozy nest.
