Abstract: Yesterday, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the Ministry of Health jointly released the "Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Medical and Health System (Draft for Soliciting Comments)" to once again publicly solicit opinions from the society. Some experts, when interviewed by reporters, believed that the draft for soliciting comments on medical reform published by the NDRC only proposed a principled and directional plan, with many details still needing to be continuously deepened in one field after another. For this reason, they suggested that the NDRC should hold hearings to solicit opinions from all parties on medical reform. Other experts, meanwhile, made sharp criticisms of the "Draft for Soliciting Comments".
